The 2023 MG Hector Facelift has been launched in India, and it features a bolder exterior, an updated interior, and a slew of new technology, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) functions.
2023 MG Hector Facelift- Exterior Profile
The bold and aggressive design of the MG Hector is sure to attract attention. A chrome-lined hexagonal grille, LED projector headlamps, and a sporty bumper adorn the front fascia. The SUV rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and has a commanding presence on the road thanks to its upright stance. The vehicle’s rear features LED tail lights, a rear spoiler, and a sporty bumper.

The dashboard incorporates a much larger 14.0-inch touchscreen. The dashboard has been completely redesigned as well, with more horizontal lines and redesigned D-shaped AC vents. The car has 6 airbags and ADAS features like lane-keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, and lane-departure warning. The iSmart infotainment software, as well as the 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera, have all been updated by MG.
2023 MG Hector Facelift- Engine/ Transmission Options
The 2023 Hector will be available with two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine produces 143PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The diesel engine produces 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
