Tata Motors has finally released the updated Safari, which includes various highlighted features as well as cosmetic changes such as the all-new infotainment system, ADAS, and much more. So, here are all of the car details of the same-
2023 Tata Safari Red Dark Edition- Exterior Profile
When comparing the exterior profile of the car to the previous one, there are no such changes. The limited edition Safari retains the same Dark theme, but it is all-black in colour, with red accents on the Piano Black front grille. The Red Dark Safari retains 18-inch alloy wheels, but they are Charcoal Black and have red brake calipers; everything else remains the same.

Tata Motors has increased the screen size to 10.25 inches. Previously, the standard Safari had an 8.8-inch floating display, but the company has now updated the regular range as well. The Safari Red Dark Edition receives a completely new digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch multi-information display. It still has a JBL 9-speaker system, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated first and second rows, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, and a 4-way electrically adjustable front passenger’s seat, among other things.

The Tata Safari Red Dark is equipped with numerous safety features, including six airbags and a 360-degree camera. The most significant change is the addition of ADAS, a first for a Tata vehicle. Forward and rear collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alerts, and other features are included in the ADAS package.
2023 Tata Safari Red Dark Edition- Engine/ Powertrain Options
The Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine from FCA that produces 170PS and 350Nm of torque. There are two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The SUV will only have front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive may be added later depending on demand.
2023 Tata Safari Red Dark Edition- Pricing/ Rivals
The Safari Red Dark edition costs Rs 22.61 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competitors, the car competes with the Mahindra XUV700, 2023 MG Hector Plus, Jeep Meridian, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Innova Crysta.
