Tata Punch Adventure Rhythm Vs Tata Tiago NRG | Which is better ?

Despite the fact that the Tata Punch and Tiago NRG belong to different segments, we can compare the two vehicles due to some similarities. Since both vehicles have identical suspension setups and high ground clearance, the company claims that they are suitable for both urban driving and off-roading. Furthermore, the engines in both vehicles are identical.

Tiago NRG is essentially a Crossover version of the Tata Tiago Hatchback with a 10 mm raised suspension. Therefore it’s quite natural that it looks like Beefed Up Tiago.

Punch on the other hand is the automaker’s new entry-level micro SUV, which sits beneath the Nexon subcompact SUV. Despite the fact that the two are based on different platforms, Punch’s design is clearly inspired by its larger sibling.

When it comes to engines, the Punch and NRG share the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that powers the regular Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz. It is tuned to produce 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. The transmission options include a five-speed manual and an AMT unit.

However, Tata claims to have provided Dynapro Technology in Punch, which helps to improve Lower end torque delivery by a significant amount. Although, when the power-to-weight ratio is taken into account, you will notice that both cars have nearly identical performance.

We compared the Tiago NRG to the Punch Adventure Rythym variant in the comparison video because the prices are nearly identical. So it’s only natural that NRG will have slightly better features than Tata Punch’s second base variant, as shown in the video.

However, the Punch’s 187 mm ground clearance (7 mm more than the NRG) and larger boot space make it a slightly more practical car than the NRG. Check out our video comparison to find out which car will win the battle.
