Here is a detailed review of Tata Motors‘ latest electric bus presented by host Hansaj Kukreti. Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has successfully delivered 400 cutting-edge Starbus EV buses to the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) through its subsidiary TML CV Mobility Solutions Ltd. This forms part of a larger order from DTC to provide, maintain, and operate 1,500 low-floor, air-conditioned electric buses for a 12-year duration.
Aligned with the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, these zero-emission buses are domestically manufactured on a next-gen architecture. They come equipped with the latest features and are powered by advanced battery systems. Designed to offer a safe, comfortable, and convenient intra-city commute throughout the National Capital Territory of Delhi, these buses mark a significant milestone in Tata Motors’ journey by surpassing the 1,000 e-bus supply mark across the country.
