The upgraded Ioniq 5 boasts a larger 84.0 kWh battery, offering an extended all-electric range.Exterior modifications aim to accentuate the Ioniq 5’s sleek SUV stance, with refined V-shape garnish, restyled front and rear bumpers, and an extended rear spoiler. The vehicle’s dimensions have also seen adjustments, with a length increase of 20 mm to 4,655 mm while maintaining other external dimensions.

Inside, the Ioniq 5 offers improved usability and convenience. The centre console now features a physical button for frequently used functions, and the smartphone wireless charging pad has been relocated for enhanced usability. A new steering wheel design with interactive pixel lights adds a touch of sophistication to the cabin.

Safety features include Hands-On Detection (HOD) steering wheel and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2), enhancing driver confidence. Additionally, the new Ioniq 5 N Line offers a sporty variant with unique exterior and interior elements.

Hyundai has introduced a significant upgrade in the Ioniq 5 facelift with a larger 84 kWh battery compared to the previous 77.4 kWh. The new battery is expected to boost the EV’s range, although specific details haven’t been disclosed by the company. Currently, the Ioniq 5 provides approximately 458 km on a single charge globally (around 630 km according to ARAI testing). The updated version is anticipated to offer around 485 km without requiring a recharge.

In response to consumer demand for sporty styling, Hyundai introduces the Ioniq 5 N Line. Positioned between the base model and the high-performance Ioniq 5 N, the N Line variant boasts a more aggressive design, featuring unique bumpers, stylish side skirts, and dedicated 20-inch aluminium wheels.

Inside, the cabin exudes a dynamic ambience with an exclusive N Line design, including a dedicated steering wheel, dashboard, metal pedals, and sports seats adorned with the N logo and red contrast stitching.

The IONIQ 5 faces stiff competition from top rivals such as the EV6 and Kona Electric. Additionally, the BYD Atto 3 and BYD E6 are formidable contenders with comparable features and specifications. The iX1 also presents itself as a viable alternative choice, offering similar attributes to the IONIQ 5.
