Hyundai has introduced a new Knight Edition of its compact SUV Creta. The Creta Knight Edition has a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The Knight Edition comes in three different colour schemes: Knight Black, Polar White, and Titan Grey.
The colour scheme in the Knight Edition is black. The majority of the chrome elements have been either blackened out or darkened.
Exterior Updates-
The front-facing grille is the most visible difference. The Knight Edition Creta has a de-chromed grill. There’s also a slight hint of red running horizontally across the grille.
The skid plates have also been blackened. To up the glam factor, Hyundai India has used a piano black finish on both the front and rear skid plates. Scratching them will be far too simple. Hyundai also used the gloss black finish on the c-pillar, roof rails, and ORVMs. The tail lamps have also been smoked to match the overall Knight theme.
The S+ variant gets 16-inch black alloy wheels, while the SX(O) gets 17-inch alloy wheels. Hyundai used red brake callipers for the front tyres to show some continuity.
Interior Updates-
The interiors of the new variant are virtually identical. The same theme can be found inside as well. The dashboard is completely black. The AC vents, on the other hand, are coloured. The stitching on the steering wheel and car seats also has a splash of colour.
Engine Specifications
The engine options remain the same as previously. The 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-liter Diesel engine produces the same amount of power (113Nm), but the torque is significantly higher (250Nm). The engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
Variants and Pricing
There are four different variants available with the Knight Edition. Two variants are available with petrol-powered engines and the other two come with a diesel powertrain.
