Force Urbania Variants Explained

Force Motors, a Pune-based Automaker, recently unveiled Urbania, its next-generation shared mobility platform. The new Force Urbania was unveiled at the Indore Dealers Meet, where select dealers from India and abroad were invited for a plant tour and test rides.

Moreover, Force Motors claims that the new Urbania van is the country’s first completely ground-up modular monocoque panel van platform. Furthermore, the Force Urbania is said to have many first-in-segment features. So, let’s check out what this van offers-

Force Urbania- Variants

The new Van comes in three sizes: Short Wheelbase, Medium Wheelbase, and Long Wheelbase.

1. Short Wheelbase Variant

In terms of precise details, the Force Urbania van’s Short Wheelbase variant can seat 10 adults and a driver. Furthermore, the wheelbase of this Urbania van variant is only 3,350mm.

2. Medium Wheelbase Variant

The Medium Wheelbase variant, on the other hand, can seat 13 adults and a driver. Furthermore, the wheelbase of this variant is only 265mm longer than that of the Urbania van’s Short Wheelbase variant, which is only 3,615mm.

3. Long Wheelbase Variant

Finally, the Force Urbania van’s Long Wheelbase variant can comfortably seat 18 adults, including the driver. Force Motors, on the other hand, had to significantly extend the wheelbase to 4,400mm in order to seat 18 adults.

Force Urbania- Features

The Urbania comes with tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, a dashboard-mounted gear lever, a 7-inch LCD touchscreen with built-in Bluetooth & camera inputs, USB mirroring for apple car play & android auto, a 6/8 speaker acoustics system, central locking, power windows, rear park assistance, engine start-stop system, reclining seats, sealed panoramic windows, individual reading lamps & USB ports, daytime running led lamps & led tail-lamps.

Force Urbania- Safety Features

Hill hold assist, ESP, ABS, EBD, ETDC, All-wheel ventilated disc brakes, dual airbags, and other safety features are standard on the new Urbania van from Force Motors.

Force Urbania- Engine/ Transmission

The Force Urbania is powered by a Mercedes-derived FM 2.6 CR ED TCIC diesel engine. This 2.6-liter turbocharged diesel engine produces 114bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Force Urbania- Pricing

The company has now announced Urbania pricing, which starts at Rs 28.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 31.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
