To differentiate the AMG version of GLA from the standard version, the AMG GLA 35 4MATIC gets specific exterior design elements. For instance, the AMG GLA 35 features a Signature sporty AMG-specific grille at the front. You also get 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, painted in Tantalite Grey with a high-sheen finish. Performance

2021 Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 review

Compared to the standard version of GLA, the AMG GLA 35 shows completely different characteristics while driving. The AMG versions typically have a higher level of performance, better handling, and better stability than that of the standard version. AMG extracts 306 horsepower from a mere 2.0 liters of displacement and that is an insane amount of power. The peak power comes at 5800 rpm, while the tremendous torque of 400 Nm is on tap from 3000 to 4000 rpm.

The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine of AMG GLA 35 combines optimal responsiveness at low engine speeds with a high increase in performance even at higher engine speeds. Mated to an eight-speed DCT automatic, the engine is so responsive that it can do 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.0 seconds.

Although the SUV is not a hardcore off-roader, the responsive AMG Performance 4MATIC (all-wheel drive) system converts the superior engine power into the best possible ratio of dynamics and traction that offers you a great driving pleasure on the road and balanced off-road mobility.

You can choose between Comfort, Sport, or Sport+ driving modes. As soon as you select the Sport+ mode, it will start unleashing the sound of breath-taking power. The partial ignition interruption during upshifts and automatic double-declutching during downshifts ensure an emotionally appealing sound, especially in the S+ drive program. The sound seems like you are driving a race car on the track.
