The Hilux and Fortuner are both equipped with a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces 204 PS and 420 Nm of peak torque (500 Nm with AT). The Fortuner SUV also gets a 2.7-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 166 PS/245 Nm. Both vehicles have a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
