MG Motor India has finally revealed the pricing for the much-anticipated Comet EV. The all-new MG Comet EV has been launched in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.78 lakh, and comes in 3 Models Pace, Pay & Plush. So here are all of the car’s specifications that you should be aware of-

MG Comet EV- Exterior Profile
The MG Comet is based on the BICO concept, which stands for “Big Inside Compact Outside.” As a result, the vehicle has a curved tech body line, LED headlights and taillights, LED DRLs, an aero-craft cabin window in the second row, and 12-inch alloy wheels. It also gets an LED strip that runs across the width of the vehicle at the front and back. Furthermore, the EV is available in five colours and a variety of graphics packs classified as sticker styles and lit packs.
MG Comet EV- Interiors/ Features
The MG Comet EV has two 10.25-inch screens: one for the main infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and another for the all-digital driver display. In terms of storage, the dashboard has a plethora of options, including two bag hooks. The vehicle is controlled by a rotary dial, and the two-spoke steering wheel has mounted controls inspired by iPods.
MG Comet EV- Safety Features
ABS, EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a reverse camera and sensors, and dual front airbags are among the safety features of the Comet EV.
MG Comet EV- Battery Specifications/ Range
The Comet EV is powered by a 17.3kWh battery that is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance and has an ARAI-certified range of 230km. MG also provides a 3.3kW onboard charger that charges the battery in seven hours. Tata AutoComp supplied the battery to MG. The Comet is powered by a single electric motor that produces 42hp and 110Nm of torque and sends power to the rear wheels via an automatic gearbox.
MG Comet EV- Pricing/ Rivals
The MG Comet EV competes with the Tata Tiago EV (Rs 8.69 lakh-11.99 lakh) and the Citroen eC3 (Rs 11.50 lakh-12.43 lakh), both of which are priced (Ex-showroom).
