Kia Carens : Price
In India, the Kia Carens price ranges from Rs. 8.99 lakh to Rs. 16.99 lakh. All prices are in INR and are ex-showroom. This means that the Carens is cheaper than most of its competitors, including the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Marazzo, Maruti Suzuki XL6, and others.
The Carens is priced so low that it is comparable to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, one of the best-selling seven-seater vehicles in the country. However, because it is a more premium and feature-rich MPV than the Ertiga, we cannot compare the two vehicles; instead, we can compare it to Ertiga’s Premium Version XL6.
The base model of the Kia Carens is approximately Rs1.14 lakh less expensive than the base model of the Maruti Suzuki XL6. Aside from that, you get a larger vehicle with features like six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, all-four disc brakes, electric tumble for the second-row seat, AC vents for all three rows, and more.
Kia Carens : Engine
The Kia Carens 1.5-litre petrol engine with manual transmission starts at Rs. 8.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 9.99 lakh. This model does not have an automatic transmission option. Kia Carens 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine with manual transmission prices start at 10.99 lakh and go up to 16.19 lakh.
