The First Look
In India Markets, lots of people have shifted out of Sedans into Mid Size Crossover based SUVs like Jeep Compass, VW Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, and Tata Harrier. Reason why the first car to be launched by French automaker “Citroen” in India is an SUV named “C5 Aircross”.
Looks like a Crossover rather than an SUV, the Aircross measures 4,500mm long, 1,969mm wide and 1,710mm tall. Compared to the Tata Harrier it’s width and Height is more than that of Tata Harrier but the length is comparatively less.
What’s Under the Hood ?
The C5 Aircross will get only one engine option which is a diesel Engine. It will be powered by a 2.0 L DW10 BlueHDi turbocharged diesel engine which is manufactured by PSA Group. For those who don’t know PSA Stands for Peugeot S.A. formerly known as PSA Peugeot Citroën.

The C5 Aircross will come with the company’s Progressive Hydraulic Cushion-equipped suspension system. The suspension uses pretty-well unique dampers, in search of a cuddling ride. Their principle was actually invented for keeping Citroen’s rally cars on the ground.

The C5 Aircross is expected to launch in India in March 2021 and will be offered with a standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever is earlier.

The 2021 Citroen C5 Aircross will lie in the price interval of Rs 28 lakh to 34 lakh (ex-showroom).
