Isuzu Motors India has finally launched the BS6 version of the V-Cross and the MU-X in India.
BS6 Isuzu V-Cross
The BS6 Isuzu V-Cross is offered in two trims – Z and Z Prestige. Both models will be loaded on features including Bi-LED projector lens headlamps, LED DRLS, roof rails, rear parking sensors, and more. The top-end Z Prestige variant is loaded with 6 airbags, roof-mounted speakers, six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ESC, traction control, shift-on-the-fly 4WD, and cruise control.
Apart from these 2 variants , the automaker has also launched the Hi-Lander version of the V-cross. It is the entry level variant of V-cross that is positioned below the V-Cross Z variant.
The BS6 V-Cross range will be only offered with the 1.9-litre diesel engine instead of the old 2.5-litre diesel engine. The new 1.9L unit will develop 163hp and 360Nm(13hp & 10Nm over the old 2.5L unit ).This engine is same across all trim levels but the tranmission doesnot.
The Z and Z-Prestige variants are also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission option. The Hi-Lander variant, on the other side, is available with a manual gearbox.

V-Cross Hi-Lander: Rs 16.98 lakh
V-Cross Z 2WD AT: Rs 19.98 lakh
V-Cross Z 4WD MT: Rs 20.98 lakh
V-Cross Z Prestige 4WD AT: Rs 24.49 lakh
BS6 Isuzu M-UX
The MU-X is a full-size SUV that competes with the likes of Citroen C5 Aircross, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, and MG Gloster. While the V-cross is tailored in terms of engine displacement, The Isuzu M-UX has got no change in terms of Engine displacement. The same 3.0-litre diesel engine is used in the M-UX with BS6 Update. This engine produces 177 bhp of max power and 380 N-m of peak torque. Of course, you can choose either a 2WD or a 4WD system.
This ladder-frame SUV is priced at Rs 33.23 lakh for the 4×2 AT version and Rs 35.19 lakh for the 4×4 AT version.
