In simple terms, the BMW G 310 RR is a TVS Apache RR 310 with a new paint job. Therefore, both of these bikes have the same design. The paint and colour options available on the BMW are where the visual differences are most noticeable. You will pay Rs. 2,85,000 for the Sport, and Rs. 2,99,00 for the “Style Sport” variant. Is it simply a TVS Apache RR 310 with a new paint job or there are some major differences? Let’s find out-

Main Highlighted Differences Between BMW G 310 RR and TVS Apache RR310
1. Tyres
The tyres that the BMW G 310 RR and TVS Apache RR310 ride on are the main point of difference. Interestingly, the Apache has the much more capable Michelin Road 5 tyres while the costlier BMW receives the rather average Michelin Pilot Street tyres.
2. Graphics/Badging, Bluetooth Connectivity
Another minor adjustment is the switch from the TVS Apache RR310’s petal rotors to the G 310 RR’s conventional discs. The graphics on the otherwise unaltered TFT display are adjusted to match the rebadging, but Bluetooth connectivity is not available on the BMW as it is on the TVS Apache RR310.
3. Suspension
The only adjustment available for the Beemer’s suspension appears to be rear preload, unlike the Apache, which offers adjustable suspension as an optional extra on its BTO version.
Final Verdict-
The TVS Apache RR 310 has more features than the G 310 RR, so it does seem like a more expensive option. Even though it carries the BMW brand, one can’t equate it to the Apache RR 310, which costs much less and comes with better tyres, adjustable suspension, and Bluetooth connectivity. However, following the recent launch of their Ronin in the 225cc segment, TVS is also making inroads into the premium segment day by day.
