In Korea, Kia Motors has debuted the facelifted Seltos subcompact SUV. The interior of the new generation Seltos has been updated with new technology and an improved design. It currently offers more features than the Seltos SUV that the Indian customer is currently owning. Kia has launched the Seltos facelift SUV in Korea at a price of 20.6m South Korean won (KRW), which roughly translates to around ₹12.50 lakh.

New colour options are also added to the updated Seltos. Additionally, Kia has unveiled a brand-new Gravity model with a dark theme. The radiator grille, headlamp, front and rear skid plates, and alloy wheels all have a blacked-out appearance. An all-black and caramel colour scheme has also been updated for the interior colour themes. The Gravity variant is the only one to offer the midnight green interior colour scheme. There are two engine choices, each of which has four variants: Trendy, Prestige, Signature, and Gravity.
2022 Facelifted Kia Seltos- Engine/ Transmission options
Talking about the engine and transmission offerings of the SUV, the India spec version might continue with the same engine options which is the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol unit rated to deliver 113 Bhp and 138 Nm. The next option in the petrol line-up will be a 1.4L turbo petrol unit rated to deliver 138 Bhp and 242 Nm. Moving on to the diesel option, the diesel unit will be a 1.5L turbo unit rated to deliver 113 Bhp and 250 Nm.
When it comes to the transmission options currently available with Seltos in India, there are four to choose from. There will be three automatic gearbox options and one manual gearbox option among these four options.

The features of the new Seltos include a huge display with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The leatherette treatment on the dash and door handles, an electronic gear shift dial, an air purifier, and ambient lighting are additional standout features. A panoramic sunroof, a memory seat for the driver, a built-in camera for live recording, a head-up display, keyless entry, and two Type-C USB charging ports are all standard on the new Seltos.

Updated Seltos in India is likely to maintain their current selection of petrol and diesel powertrains. However, it will be more capable of competing with new rivals like the Toyota HyRyder and Maruti Grand Vitara. It will be a close race because the HyRyder and Vitara have segment-first strong hybrid powertrains with best-in-class fuel efficiency, whereas the new Seltos have ADAS.
Speaking of the other competitors in the lineup, they include the Hyundai Creta and the MG Astor.
