In 2019, Tata Motors had first launched the Harrier Dark Edition in India and seemed to be in the bag. After so many accolades the company has now introduced the updated Harrier Dark Edition in India at an introductory price of Rs 18.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Available in three variant options – XT+, XZ+, and the XZA+, the 2021 Tata Harrier Dark Edition is now available in the new Oberon Black colour option as against the outgoing version’s Atlas Black colour. The SUV now gets larger 18 inch Blackstone Alloys, Special DARK Mascot, Dark Chrome Interior Pack, Puncture Repair Kit and Benecke Kaliko Leather* Upholstery with Deep-Blue Tri-Arrow Perforations
Some of the features have been carried forward from the regular version of Harrier such as – a panoramic sunroof, Xenon HID projector headlamps, terrain response modes, six-airbags, advanced ESP with 14 add-on functionalities, an 8.8-inch Floating touchscreen infotainment system with 9 JBL speakers and amplifier, eight-way adjustable power seats, auto-dimming IRVMs, rain-sensing wipers, and auto headlamps. However, the Harrier is still not equipped with the IRA technology of Tata Motors.
Mechanically no changes have been done, the Harrier Dark Edition is still offered only a sole 170hp diesel engine which is paired with a 6-speed manual in the XT+ and XZ+ and a 6-speed automatic in the XZA+.
