Finally, Hyundai has released the first official images of the interior of the Exter, and it does resemble the Grand i10 NIOS and Aura.
Hyundai Exter- Exterior Design
The Hyundai Exter’s exterior design is revealed in the latest uncamouflaged images. It has a sleek grille flanked by H-shaped LED DRLs that also serve as turn indicators. The headlights are mounted on the bumper. It has multi-spoke alloy wheels, a roof-mounted spoiler, and LED taillamps that are linked.
Hyundai Exter- Interiors/ Features
In terms of interior design, the Exter’s steering wheel and dashboard are very similar to those of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, but there are a few differences. For starters, the interior is all-black rather than the grey/black or bronze/black seen on the Nios and Aura.
The Exter, like the i20 and Verna, gets a full-digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID. It also has an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in-car navigation, and a sunroof.
Hyundai Exter- Engine/ Powertrain Options
The Exter’s base engine will be the same 83hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol found in the Venue, Grand i10 Nios, and Aura. As previously reported, the second engine option will be a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which could join the lineup later.
As a result, the Exter’s inclusion of Hyundai’s 1.0 T-GDi turbo-petrol engine gives it an advantage over the popular Tata Punch, which does not offer a turbo-petrol option.
Hyundai Exter- Launch Date/ Rivals
The Exter will be available in five variants: EX, S, SX, SX (O), and SX (O) and will be launched on July 10 at an expected starting price of Rs 6.5 lakh (Ex-showroom). In terms of competitors, the car will compete against Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ignis, and others.
