Though Brezza and Hyryder are fundamentally the same, the Hyryder has a distinct appearance. It has a more mature appearance thanks to the streamlined design and flashy elements like the grille and headlamps. The 17-inch alloys are the same as those used on the current Creta. The rear may resemble the Brezza, but the similarities are too subtle to notice. The 2022 Brezza, on the other hand, has a boxy design and a large amount of body cladding that may appear odd.

The Hyryder has a more premium interior than the Brezza. Though many of the parts are the same, there are some subtle differences that make the Hyryder feel more premium. The Hyryder has it all in terms of features. A panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, drive modes, 360-degree camera, AWD, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and much more are available. The Hyryder is equipped with 6 airbags, ESP, TC, hill hold, hill descent, TPMS, and other safety features.
Whereas, The Brezza gets a new dual-tone black and brown dashboard design that resembles the Baleno’s. Many switchgear, steering wheels, instrument clusters, infotainment software, and other features are also shared. The silver accents on the dashboard and doors provide some visual contrast.
The new 9.0-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality, Arkamys sound system, wireless charging, rear AC vents, voice command support, connected car tech, heads-up display, cruise control, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, USB Type-C rear charging ports, connected car tech, Alexa compatibility, and a sunroof are now standard on higher variants of the Brezza.

The Hyryder is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with 103HP and 137Nm. This is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5L TNGA Atkinson’s Cycle Petrol engine is also available for the Hyryder. A hybrid ecosystem is formed by this engine and an electric motor. The combined power of this hybrid variant is 115HP. It is coupled with an e-drive transmission (a CVT).
Whereas, The new Brezza is powered by a 1.5 litre K-series BS-VI petrol engine that delivers a peak power of 77KW@6000 rpm with a top-end torque of 138Nm@4400rpm. It will be available with a five-speed manual and advanced automatic transmissions.

Toyota has kept the pricing of the Hyryder under wraps, whereas the new 2022 Brezza is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The Creta, Seltos, Astor, Kushaq, and Taigun will be the primary competitors for the Hyryder.
