1. Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is the most anticipated launch this month. The Jimny is powered by a single 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated K15B petrol engine that produces 105hp and 134Nm of torque. This model is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system is standard on the SUV, which is supported by a ladder-frame chassis. So far, the most popular colour options for the Jimny have been Bluish Black, Kinetic Yellow, and Pearl Arctic White.
2. Honda Elevate
The second one is from the house of Honda, which is the Honda Elevate. This will be a mid-size SUV that will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It will be unveiled on June 6. The 1.5L NA petrol and 1.5L strong-hybrid powertrain configurations from the Honda City are expected to be carried over. The car will come with ADAS and a small electric sunroof, as well as a slew of other features. You can expect ventilated seats, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, and other features.
3. Citroen C3 Aircross
Another is the Citroen C3 Aircross, which was previously showcased; this Hyundai Creta rival will be released later this month. The three-row SUV will be introduced at a competitive price point to help it compete with its VFM propositions. The Citroen C3 Aircross will be available with a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine and both manual and automatic gearbox options. The SUV will have a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, roof-mounted AC vents, and a completely removable third row.
4. Hyundai Exter
The Hyundai Exter, a South Korean automaker, will enter the mini SUV market. The SUV will be offered in five trim levels: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O). The Exter will have the same 83hp, 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Venue, Grand i10 Nios, and Aura. The second engine option, as previously reported, will be a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which could join the lineup later.
5. Mercedes-Benz AMG SL55 Roadster
The Mercedes-Benz AMG SL55 Roadster will be unveiled on June 22. The new-generation AMG SL55’s 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine produces 470 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The AMG SL55’s engine allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds.
