Hyundai Motor India recently launched the new-generation Verna. The all-new 2023 Hyundai Verna has been priced from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh, ex-showroom. This mid-size sedan is offered with two petrol engines and now comes with the largest boot space in the segment. As a result, here are the top five reasons why the 2023 Verna is a better option when compared to other cars in the segment-
1. Comes with the Longest Wheelbase & Largest Boot space
2023 Hyundai Verna | Dimensions |
Length | 4,535mm |
Width | 1,765mm |
Height | 1,475mm |
Wheelbase | 2,670mm |
The above figures clearly show that the 2023 Hyundai Verna is now the widest sedan in its segment, as well as having the longest wheelbase. Furthermore, the Hyundai Verna has the largest boot space in the segment, which includes vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus. As a result, the 2023 Hyundai Verna is a clear winner in terms of space management and practicality.
2. Offers a Much Sportier Design
Until now, all other cars in the segment, such as the Volkswagen Virtus and the Skoda Slavia, offered a much sportier stance than the old Verna, but that has now changed. The 2023 Verna features a larger grille in front flanked by neatly tucked-in headlights, a large strip of LED DRL running the width of the car, updated tail lamps, and new wheels. The 2023 Hyundai Verna appears sporty, muscular, and brand new in comparison.
3. Comes Loaded with 17 ADAS-tech Safety Features
Although the 2023 City Facelift was introduced with ADAS tech features, the 2023 Verna, on the other hand, comes with approximately 17 ADAS safety features known as Hyundai smart sense technology. It includes front collision warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and many other features. Some more safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, VSM, ESC, TPMS, Hill-start assist control, electronic parking brake, four disc brakes, front, and rear parking sensors, and so on.
4. Offers the Most Powerful Engine Option in the Segment
The new-generation Verna is now India’s most powerful sedan in its segment, thanks to the introduction of a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 160 PS of maximum power and 253 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 7-speed DCT, which Hyundai claims can accelerate the sedan from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.2 seconds!
5. Competitively Well-Priced
The 2023 Hyundai Verna is priced very competitively, ranging from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh (Ex-showroom). As a result, it is available in four trim levels: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). Furthermore, with such pricing, the car offers some first-in-segment features that the other cars in the competition lack, such as a free-standing dual-screen setup, 64-color Ambient Lighting, Heated and Cooled seats, and so on, making it a complete package.
