Tata Motors has finally launched the Altroz i-CNG, which starts at Rs. 7.55 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 10.54 Lakh for the top-end CNG variant. Moreover, The car is outfitted with twin-cylinder CNG technology, in which the twin CNG cylinders are installed beneath the luggage compartment.
Tata Altroz i-CNG- Exterior Design
The Altroz CNG’s exterior remains unchanged, with the exception of the addition of the ‘iCNG’ badge on the tailboard. The new dual-cylinder setup in the boot is the most distinctive feature of the premium hatchback. The new twin cylinders, which are 30 litres each, have been positioned under the boot floor to free up storage space, as opposed to the large 60-litre tank that plagues boot space in multiple CNG models.
Tata Altroz i-CNG- Interiors/ Features
The Tata Altroz i-CNG includes a voice-assisted electric sunroof, wireless charger, air purifier, an 8-speaker audio system, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity. Apart from that, when compared to its competitors, the Altroz i-CNG is the first cng car to include a company-fitted sunroof.
Tata Altroz i-CNG- Engine/ Powertrain Options
In terms of engine specifications, the car has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 76bhp and 97Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The same engine produces 87bhp and 113Nm of torque in petrol mode.

Tata Altroz is available in 6 Cng variants, out of which all are manual. The base Cng variant Altroz XE CNG starts at Rs. 7.55 Lakh and the top-end Cng variant Altroz XZ Plus Opt S CNG is priced at Rs. 10.54 Lakh.
