Skoda Auto India today introduced the Anniversary Editions of the Slavia and Kushaq, with starting prices of Rs 17.27 lakh and Rs 17.99 lakh (Ex-showroom). While the Slavia Anniversary edition is placed above the Style variant. The Kushaq Lava Blue edition sits between the Style and Monte Carlo variants. Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition- What’s New?
A chrome-finished front grille, chrome inserts on the side cladding, aluminium pedals, ‘Anniversary Edition’ steering badge, ‘Anniversary Edition’ branding on the C-pillar and scuff plate and Anniversary Edition Cushion pillows are among the enhancements to the Slavia. As a result, the Slavia Anniversary edition is placed above the Style variant.
Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition- Gets The Old 10-inch Infotainment System Back
Aside from that, the Slavia Anniversary Edition’s main addition is the return of the 10-inch touchscreen paired with a 380W speaker system. Due to a global semiconductor shortage, this infotainment system was discontinued in Kushaq and Slavia last year.
Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition- What’s New?
The Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition, on the other hand, sits between the Style and Monte Carlo trims. Chrome inserts on the grille and lower parts of the doors, ‘Edition’ badging on the B-pillar, scuff plates with Kushaq badging, and Plush Edition cushion pillows are among the key changes on the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition.
Skoda Slavia/ Kushaq- Engine/ Powertrain Options
Both models are powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 150hp and 250Nm of torque. Both come with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Skoda claims that this engine is now E20 (20% petrol-ethanol blend) compliant. It also meets RDE standards and is up to 5% and 7% more fuel efficient than before in Slavia and Kushaq, respectively.
