Hyundai Motor India Ltd has finally launched the much-anticipated Hyundai Exter micro SUV in India. The Hyundai Exter price in India starts at 6.00 Lakh, and the car comes with a slew of segment-first features and is overstuffed for an entry-level SUV.

Hyundai Exter- Exterior Design
The Exter’s design is based on Hyundai’s new design language, and it features a split headlamp setup with H-shaped LED DRLs. The upper section receives turn indicators, while the lower section receives a headlamp cluster with projector lamps. The car has bold body cladding on the sides and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Moving on to the rear, the Exter has a thick black stripe connecting both tail lamps, as well as a black-out bumper with a diffuser. The taillamps are LED, and it has ‘H’ shaped DRLs like the front.

The interior of the Exter includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-leatherette seats, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. It will also have TPMS, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, and connected car capabilities.

The Hyundai Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque and is available with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. A CNG version with 68bhp and 95Nm of torque is also available. The Exter has a fuel efficiency of 19.4kmpl in the petrol MT variant, 19.2km in the petrol AMT variant, and 27.1km/kg in the CNG MT variant.
