Hyundai only offers the turbo petrol engine in the Sportz trim, which starts at Rs. 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom). The engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

2. Citroen C3

The Citroen C3 is the second vehicle. This vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder PureTech turbo petrol engine that produces 110 horsepower and 190 Newton-meters of torque. The C3 Turbo is only available in the top-tier trim, which costs Rs. 8.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

3. Tata Altroz i-Turbo

The third option comes from Tata Motors and is the Tata Altroz i-Turbo, which starts at Rs. 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs. 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three sizes: XT, XZ, and XZ+. The premium hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre Turbo Petrol engine that produces 110 bhp and 140 Nm of peak torque. 7. Hyundai Aura

The Aura is the market’s only turbo-petrol compact sedan, powered by the same 100hp engine as the Grand i10 Nios Turbo. The Aura shares most of the Grand i10 Nios’ strengths and features, but it goes one step further in terms of practicality by offering a large 402-litre boot. The Turbo costs Rs 1.29 lakh more than the comparable Aura 1.2-litre petrol SX variant and costs Rs 8.66 lakh (ex-showroom).

8. Hyundai Venue

With the 1.0-litre turbo petrol S(O) iMT trims costing Rs. 10 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Hyundai Venue is also named as the most affordable turbo petrol car. The 1.0-litre tGDi petrol engine that powers the Kia Sonet, produces 120 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque in the sub-compact SUV. The gearbox options are also the same, with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT unit.

9. Kia Sonet

The Kia Sonet is the Hyundai Venue’s cousin, sharing the same engines and platform but with its own distinct design. The high-tech 120hp, 1.0-litre T-GDi engine delivers strong performance, but it is only available with a 6-speed iMT gearbox under Rs 10 lakh.

10. Upcoming Hyundai Exter
