After the launch of Tigor EV facelift, tata is gearing up to launch its most awaited product – The HBX.Tata Motors teases the HBX launch in their latest tweet. The HBX is a micro-SUV that is likely to be powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, with 86 PS of power and 113 Nm torque. Apart from this higher variants are expected to get a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Since it will hit the micro SUV segment in India, therefore it will compete with the likes of Mahindra KUV100 NXT and the upcoming Hyundai Casper.
HBX will be the smallest SUV offered by Tata Motors. It is positioned under the Nexon, which will aim to fulfill the Indian customer’s demand for SUVs. We got a peek of the HBX concept at Auto Expo 2020 and after that model has been spotted testing on numerous occasions. It will be based on the same platform as the Altroz ie. the ALFA platform.
HBX will likely feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a flat-bottom steering wheel, push-button start/stop, power-operated ORVMs (auto-folding), all power windows, automatic climate control, cruise control, etc.
