Maruti Suzuki has announced prices for the Grand Vitara CNG, which is available in mid-spec Delta and Zeta trims. Prices for the Grand Vitara CNG start at Rs 12.85 lakh for the Delta, while the Zeta costs Rs 14.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG- Exterior Profile
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG has the same exterior profile as the current Grand Vitara, the only difference being the CNG Cylinder, which is located in the car’s boot. Apart from that, the front, side, and rear profiles, as well as the interior, are identical. A massive chrome-lined hexagonal grille, three-point LED daytime running lights, a bumper-mounted main headlamp assembly, and plenty of body cladding are included. The side body panels, tailgate, and even the rear bumper will be the same.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG- Features
A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, a heads-up display unit, a push-button start/stop feature, and ventilated front seats are conventional on the Grand Vitara. Standard features include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, connected car features, and remote ignition. Among the safety features are six airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and vehicle stability control.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG- Engine/ Powertrain Options
The powertrain in the Grand Vitara CNG is similar to that in the Ertiga CNG and XL6 CNG. This 1.5-liter K15C four-cylinder engine produces performance numbers comparable to the XL6 and Ertiga. It produces 88 hp and 121.5 Nm of torque on CNG. Therefore, it only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.

In the Indian market, the Grand Vitara CNG has no direct competitors. Toyota, on the other hand, is preparing to launch a CNG-powered version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder soon, with bookings already underway.
