The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is available in four variations, each with six monotone colour options. Bookings for the entry-level hatchback, which will be sold alongside the Alto 800, are now open for Rs 11,000.
Moving on to the new Alto K10’s two customization options. Maruti Suzuki has two packages available: Impacto and Glinto. Let’s take a closer look at the two of them-
Difference between Impacto & Glinto Packs-
1. Impacto Pack
The Impacto customization kit for the new Alto K10 is intended to improve the car’s sportiness, or “youthful spirit,” as Maruti Suzuki refers to it. The Impacto kit focuses on enhancing specific elements of the vehicle to emphasize its sportiness.
2. Glinto Pack
The Glinto customization kit for the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, on the other hand, is about creating a ‘premium look,’ according to Maruti Suzuki. The Glinto customization kit for the new Alto K10 includes a variety of chrome elements to enhance its appearance.
Accessories Offered under Different Packs-
1. Impacto Pack
The Impacto Kit comes with two essential accessories: front and rear skid plates. Color accents, wheel arch cladding, black body side molding, smoke grey door visor, ORVM cover, and more are included in the package. Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the price of the Impacto customization kit; however, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 can be accessorized via the carmaker’s accessories website.
2. Glinto Pack
The Glinto pack, on the other hand, adds chrome elements to the Alto K10’s front bumper, particularly around the fog lamp housing. Its subtle lip spoiler also gets chrome trim (if you can call that). Glinto gets a door visor with chrome lining, as well as chrome-finished door guards that are absolutely hideous. The Glinto pack also includes a lot of chrome elements on the inside. A window frame kit and 3D floor mats are also included.
Impacto/ Glinto Packs- Pricing
In terms of pricing, Glinto pack for LXi trims costs Rs. 30,990 while for VXi and VXi+, it costs Rs. 25,590. Whereas on the other hand, the Impacto pack costs Rs. 31,990 for LXi trim (orange) and Rs 32,990 (silver). It costs Rs. 26,490 (orange) and Rs 26,990 (silver) for VXi and VXi+ trims.
This is in addition to the Alto K10’s base price, which starts at Rs. 3.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 5.83 lakh (prices ex-sh). All of the accessories included in these packs can also be purchased separately based on the needs of the customer.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10- Rivals
The Renault Kwid, which is priced between Rs 4.64 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh, is the only direct competitor to the new Alto K10. The new Alto K10’s prices, however, overlap with those of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso (Rs 4.25 lakh-5.99 lakh) and the existing Alto 800 (Rs 3.39 lakh-5.03 lakh), which are other options that customers may consider.
