Mahindra officially announced the prices of all variants of the all-new Mahindra XUV700 just a few days ago. The company even provided an optional Luxury pack with its top-spec automatic variants, as well as AWD with the top-spec diesel automatic variant. The only drawback was that the optional AWD and Luxury packs could not be combined.
The fans Suggested that the company should offer AWD and Luxury packs together. Mahindra has responded quickly by launching two new top-spec variants of the XUV700.

It is worth noting that the top-spec Mahindra XUV700 continues to undercut the top-spec of its closest rival, Tata Safari by 28,000 rupees, despite the fact that the latter isn’t as feature-rich as the XUV700. The new Tata Safari lacks AWD as well.
Mahindra XUV700’s luxury package
The new Mahindra XUV700’s luxury package will include Sony’s immersive 3D sound system, electrically deployed smart door handles, 360-degree surround view, Blind View Monitoring, Electronic Park Brake, driver knee airbag, passive keyless entry, continuous digital video recording, and wireless charging. Apart from the addition of these two new variants, the rest of the bits remain unchanged.
The new Mahindra XUV700 is available with two BS6 engine options, a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. The petrol is the most powerful option under Rs 30 lakh, with an output of 200hp and 380Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission that sends power only to the front wheels. The diesel, on the other hand, is available in three tunes: 155hp and 360Nm with a 6-speed manual in the base MX variant; 185hp/420Nm with a 6-speed manual or 185hp/450Nm with a 6-speed automatic in the other variants.
